School Social Worker | Morris, IL | Full-Time 2024/2025

Job Description:

• Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Monday-Friday
  • Onsite, preferred
• 38-42 dollars per hour
• 2024-2025 school year
• Prek-8th grade caseload
• Provide direct services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community organizations to develop and implement strategies to support students' social and emotional development.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs, and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Advocate for students and families to ensure access to necessary resources and support services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work
• School Social Work certification in Illinois
  • PEL or Type 73
• Background Check
